Gary was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 27, 1948, and was admitted to the Bar in 1974. His legal experience includes
the representation of numerous business entities, inluding financial institutions, corporations, partnerships, and limited
liability companies, from incorporation and corporate financing through proxy fights and both hostile and friendly mergers
and acquisitions. Gary has been involved in all aspects of securities law and regulations, including issuer's counsel, underwriter's
counsel, special counsel, and bank counsel, representing issuers, underwriters, lenders, trustees and investors in structuring,
analyzing and evaluating the legal bases for public and private offerings of debt and equity. He has extensive experience
in banking law and bank regulatory practice for numerous banking organizations. Gary is well versed in all aspects of real
estate law, having represented developers, landlords, tenants, lenders and individual and corporate landowners in a wide variety
of real estate transactions. He has provided advice and counsel to individuals, families and fiduciaries on a wide range of
issues involving estate planning, and is experienced in drafting wills and donations, establishing charitable and family trusts,
as well as counseling and advising closely held businesses on transition from one generation to the next. He has also handled
complex bankruptcy and creditors' rights issues. Gary is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Louisiana,
as well as the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit,
and is an experienced and tenacious litigator. Professional activities include memberships in the New Orleans Bar Association,
the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association.
